Terms of Service
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Glomo Services (defined below) provided by Glomo Payments IFSC Private Limited ("Glomo," "we," or "us"). By using the Glomo Services, you ("you" or "Customer") agree to these Terms.
Scope of Services
1.1 Glomo provides technology services that enable you to be redirected from the online platform through which you access products or services ("Platform") to the payment page of an Authorised Dealer bank ("AD Bank") for initiating remittance transactions under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme ("LRS") of the Reserve Bank of India ("RBI"), which shall hereinafter be referred to as Glomo Services.
Customer Responsibility
2.1 You acknowledge and agree that:
All remittance transactions are undertaken directly between you and the AD Bank.
You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with RBI's LRS limits, guidelines, and any applicable laws.
Any purchase of foreign securities or stocks via the Platform is at your own discretion and risk.
You agree that your remittance transactions are also subject to, and you shall be bound by, the terms and conditions, policies, and procedures of the AD Bank through which you choose to process your LRS transaction.
No Warranty
3.1 Glomo provides the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
3.2 Glomo does not warrant:the accuracy or legality of the products or services offered on the Platform;
the availability or uninterrupted operation of routing services;
the approval or completion of any remittance by the AD Bank.
3.3 Glomo shall be solely responsible for providing the Glomo Services and shall not perform, nor shall it be liable for any losses, damages, or liabilities arising from any activities outside the scope of the Glomo Services. Without limitation, Glomo does not undertake, and disclaims any responsibility or liability arising from:conducting remittance transactions;
handling or holding any customer funds;
collecting or performing Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures;
acting as an Authorised Dealer or regulated intermediary under the LRS or any regulations of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI);
providing investment advice, financial recommendations, or endorsing any products or services offered on the Platform
Limitation of Liability
4.1 To the maximum extent permitted under law, Glomo shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
your use of or inability to use the Services;
any transaction failures, delays, or errors by the AD Bank;
any loss resulting from your decision to purchase securities or remit funds abroad.
Data and Privacy
5.1 Glomo may collect limited technical information necessary for routing services (e.g., device identifiers, transaction session data) but does not collect or store KYC information required for LRS compliance.
5.2 You expressly consent to the collection and use by Glomo of certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, bank account number, customer ID, and any other details necessary to facilitate the routing of your remittance transaction ("Customer Information"). You further agree that Glomo may share such Customer Information with the AD Bank solely to the extent required for enabling the remittance transaction under the LRS or for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5.3 Glomo's Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Regulatory Disclosures
Transactions under the LRS are subject to RBI regulations. Glomo does not provide assistance or advice regarding compliance with such regulations.
