Why does "Glomo Dubai" appear on my bank statement?

Glomo is a global payments processor that provides secure financial infrastructure for international businesses. When you purchase a product or subscribe to a service from a merchant in our network, Glomo processes the payment that may appear as the billing entity on your bank or card statement.

Is Glomo a regulated financial entity?

Yes. Glomo is a legitimate payment platform regulated by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA). This attestation confirms our adherence to rigorous global standards for cross-border financial services, transparency, and consumer protection.

I don’t recognize a charge. How can I identify the merchant?

If you see a charge you don’t recognize, please email support@glomopay.com with the transaction amount, date and last 4 digits of card number, and our team will help identify the merchant. Glomo sends a receipt email for every successful debit processed through our platform, which includes the merchant’s details. Please check your inbox (and spam folder) for the receipt before contacting support.

Why was I charged without receiving an OTP?

This typically occurs for pre-authorized recurring subscriptions or follow-up charges. During your initial checkout, you may have provided consent for future automatic debits to ensure uninterrupted access to services (such as insurance coverage).

How does Glomo ensure my payment data is secure?

In addition to IFSCA attestation, Glomo maintains strict PCI DSS compliance and uses end-to-end encryption protocols. We also employ proactive monitoring systems to detect and prevent unauthorized activity, ensuring your financial data is protected at every stage of the transaction.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

To manage, pause, or cancel a subscription, please contact the merchant directly using the details provided in your receipt email. Glomo sends a confirmation email for every successful debit, which includes the merchant’s contact information and support links. If you’re unable to locate the receipt, please email support@glomopay.com with the transaction details, and our team will assist you.
